Howling from a London wasteland, Bad Fractals are a thundering, psychedelic avalanche of acid punk and glam trash rock. Hailing from the UK, Latvia, Germany, Sardinia & Greece, and with culturally diverse backgrounds in music & performing arts, Bad Fractals bring a uniquely raw, theatrical energy to the stage. With a notorious reputation for memorable live performances at unconventional venues, their philosophy invites you to embrace chaos, making each performance an ecstatic dance. In 2023 the band teamed up with Youth & Michael Rendall to produce and mix their debut album, The Sea Sang Screaming, and the results are finally ready to be released via Creation Youth, the label launched by Youth and Alan McGee (Creation Records). Today, Bad Fractals have released a new single, Strike!, which is a strident, anthemic rock n’ roll strutter that perfectly fuses the bands filthy punk and stomping glam influences.

“It’s a bold invitation to be who we truly are. It is a love story of the subconscious, with the knowledge that somewhere deep inside lies a perfect lover in sexual symmetry. All we see are flashes of faces and flesh as we strut down an ancestral runway of desire. Strike the iron while it’s hot!” (frontman Bang Crosby)

Bad Fractals

Strike! is Rock and Roll in all its Dionysian glory. Juxtaposing squatted property, brutalist architecture, gender bending sex positivity and thrash garage rock, Bad Fractals seek to recreate a wildness and freedom lacking in commercial rock, to reinstate danger, and with it, FUN! Bringing together underground pop stars, exotic dancers, and the very best of friends, Strike! was shot in the raw concrete of Balfron Tower, one of London’s most iconic Brutalist residential blocks. Dodging security throughout, Bad Fractals scoured the countryside for empty property they could gain access too for the band shots. The remaining scenes were filmed at London’s Manor House warehouse districts. Bad Fractals launch their album at London’s Sebright Arms on May 20th before heading to Bearded Theory Festival. Stay tuned for further transmissions.
