
UK quintet
Basement has emerged from their 2012 indefinite hiatus with the announcement of a brand new EP. The disc will be titled
Further Sky, and is due out July 29, 2014 via
Run For Cover Records.
The new song, “Summer’s Colour,” can be heard here courtesy Noisey. Upcoming tour dates are below.
The EP features two new songs, “Summer’s Colour” and “Jet,” and a cover of Suede’s “Animal Nitrate.” It was recorded spring 2014 at North London’s Livingston Studio (The Clash, Bjork, Jesus and Mary Chain).
