Bayside Get The Festivities Started With New Single “Best Christmas Yet”

Bayside are getting into the holiday spirt early with their new single, Best Christmas Yet, that is now available through streaming platforms via Fearless Records. The band bring their signature pop-punk punch to the holiday season, opening with a generous dose of classic seasonal bells before launching into Anthony Raneri‘s unmistakably crisp, clear vocals. Brimming with hope and nostalgia, the song feels like a warm hug from old friends, shared over a mug of eggnog, celebrating the comfort of familiar traditions and the people who make the holidays feel like home. In true Bayside form, they are gifting fans with another holiday track, their ‘surprise’ take on a yuletide classic that will help you celebrate the most wonderful time of the year.

“We wrote ‘Best Christmas Yet’ to address what the holidays are really about to us, being with the people you love and who love you back. We put a lot of pressure on ourselves during the holidays to have a specific kind of time or for them to look and feel idealistic and most of the Christmas songs out there paint that unrealistic, idealistic picture. We thought there should be a song about what the holidays are really about.” (Anthony Raneri)

Over the Summer, Bayside issued EPs curated and selected by a specific band member, complete with artwork designed by said member. Each collection also featured a B-side from 2011’s Killing Time that has never been digitally released and was only previously available via vinyl.
