Orange County’s ska punk firebrands Bite Me Bambi have turned up the volume and the attitude with the release of their new album, Eat This. Packed with infectious energy, undeniable hooks, and a fearless spirit, Eat This is poised to be the ultimate Valentine’s Day gift for ska, pop and punk listeners alike. Alongside the album, the band will unveil the music video for Too Many People, a powerhouse anthem featuring the legendary Dirty Walt Kibby of Fishbone. Organ echoes over a punchy drumroll before a hummable horn section accelerates the momentum. As the groove builds, frontwoman Tahlena Chikami takes command “It’s like a mission statement,” says Tahlena. “Say what you want about us, but we’re here doing our thing, and you can’t drag us down. I’m proud of how open we are in the song.”
Rising from the perennial punk proving grounds of Orange County, CA, Bite Me Bambi is a high-energy force to be reckoned with. The band, anchored by original members Tahlena Chikami (vocals, guitar), Mike Berault (keys), Ryan Brown (bass), Edgar Guadiana (sax) and Dan Evans (drums), craft unapologetic and undeniable anthems fueled by uncontainable pop-punk energy, soaring ska spirit and intoxicating island bounce. With Eat This marking a new chapter for the band, enthusiasts can expect more excitement on the horizon. A national tour announcement is coming soon, promising live shows as fun and unrelenting as the music itself. Bite Me Bambi are here, and they’re not holding back.
Bite Me Bambi also will be appearing at Doll Fest on the 2nd March and will also be appearing at the UK’s Rebellion Festival in August. You can read The Punk Site‘s review of Eat This here
