Black Water County Celebrate “The Only Life Worth Living” On New Album

Black Water County have released their third album, The Only Life Worth Living, that was recorded with their close friend and long-term producer Lewis Johns at The Ranch in Southampton, the new album follows their 2017 debut Taking Chances and 2020’s Comedies and Tragedies. The album is awash with frantic juggernauts of rousing guitars and frenetic drums, choruses that will remain long in the memory and rhythms that simply demand movement.

Hailing from the South West of the UK and now celebrating a decade making music together, Black Water County have deviated over time from the well-trodden path of alcohol-fueled teenage insolence towards an aspiration to achieve affinity through tales of the downtrodden and the heartbroken. With a necessary touch of both spirit, and spirits, naturally. To coincide with the album release, the band will embark on a headline UK tour with tickets for all dates available here. Black Water County will also play a hometown date at Bournemouth Old Fire Station on Saturday 16th December, the only show where they will be performing their new album in its entirety, complete with special guests, live strings and brass. 

The Only Life Worth Living is now available on eco-friendly vinyl, with every copy being unique, limited edition orange vinyl, cassette, CD and digital, alongside a new range of merchandise. The ten track album features the four singles taken from the album over recent months; The Only Life Worth Living, Cruel State Of Mind, Second Guessing and Here We Are Again.
