BLXPLTN have unleashed their new single, Education Destruction, that is the first taste from their forthcoming third album. The politically charged single was released today via the band’s own label, Wolfshield Records. Known for their in your face punk industrial sound, BLXPLTN tear apart influences as diverse as electro, hip hop, hardcore, and industrial that has led to the band being cited as channelling Death Grips, Bad Brains, Beastie Boys and Ministry. Exploring themes of inequality and the connection between illiteracy and criminality, Education Destruction‘s lyrics focus on singer TaSzlin Muerte personal struggle within the system, decrying the misinformation forced upon the laypeople by the wealthy upper-class.
