Arizona horror punks Boogeyman aim to drag listeners into the shadowy world they’ve created, where horror-themed punk rock meets dark storytelling. They’ve always toyed with different shades of horror music, but this time, they’re adding a twist of literary flair. Their saga, The Devil’s Song, isn’t just an album, it’s a journey. With Boogeyman, you’re not just listening to music; you’re stepping into a nightmare. The band’s sophomore full length Rotten Leaves is out today via We Are Horror Records, the album concludes the story of The Devil’s Song that was set forth by their self titled debut album.

“Blind at birth, darkness is Ezekiel’s world. His greatest fear and only friend. He’s felt it all his life. A presence. The Phantom. Inside and out, he searches. Trapped in grandfather’s cellar the night of his funeral, eyes bleeding, he scratches the walls unconscious, wakes beneath the moon and sees. The world is on fire. Death is everywhere. Everything. Learning the Devil’s Song has allowed him to help trapped spirits move on to the afterlife. He awakens after his supernatural battle with the Demon of Whisper Creek with an unsettled feeling. Something is wrong. Very wrong.”
