Carol Hodge Drops “Manoeuvres” From Upcoming Fifth Studio Album “EffortLess InSecurity”

Fresh from her appearance at Manchester Punk Festival, Carol Hodge (The Ignorant Band / Ginger Wildheart / The Carol Hodge Band) has revealed her brand new single and video, Manoeuvres. The track is taken from her upcoming fifth studio album, EffortLess InSecurity, that is set to be released in September.

“Here’s my brand new single Manoeuvres. It’s the first track released from my fifth studio album. Manoeuvres is a bit of a shift in direction, and definitely the heaviest song on the album. Huge thanks to Dave Draper and Rob Heilig, my collaborators on the production of the song and the highly creepy music video. This is a song that this is a song that channels the ire and disappointment I’m sure a lot of us feel. I’m sick and tired of the lack of authenticity from public figures. Whether it’s the evil clowns running our country, or the narcissists clogging up my social media feed, the layers of falsity are sickeningly thick. People seem incapable of honesty, unable to give anything without a demand for reciprocity. Everything is strategic and transactional.
