Comeback Kid Signs To Distort, Plans Fourth Album, Tours Canada
Distort Inc. has signed Winnipeg’s Comeback Kid. Lead vocalist Andrew Newfeld commented on the signing saying:
“Distort’s pedigree supporting heavy music in Canada made joining forces with the label a no brainer. We’ve known Greg [Below] and some of the other people at Distort for a good while. They have always been a helping hand, expecting nothing in return, so signing with them seemed like a long time coming. After all these years as a band, it’s nice to work with a label as experienced and dedicated as Distort. At this stage in our career, it’s the best home for Comeback Kid.”
Comeback Kid will release their fourth studio album Symptoms + Cures through Distort in Canada on August 31. The eleven track album was produced by Eric Ratz (Cancer Bats, Billy Talent) and Kenny Luong (Cancer Bats, Billy Talent).
After a summer festival run in Europe & the UK, Comeback Kid return to take over stages across Canada with Madball and A Wilhelm Scream. The tour kicks off in Vancouver on September 10 and will wrap up in Quebec City on September 27. The dates are below.
