Influential country punk blues band The Gun Club are set to a have their three albums re-issued via Cooking Vinyl on Friday 18th May. The studio albums Mother Juno and Lucky Jim, as well as their 1992 live album Ahmed’s Wild Dream, will be available with original artwork on CD, digital download and limited edition vinyl. Jeffrey Lee Pierce‘s acclaimed autobiography, Go Tell The Mountain: The Stories And lyrics Of Jeffrey Lee Pierce, which was published posthumously in 1998, will also be available in an updated version. The cult of Jeffrey Lee Pierce and The Gun Club has spread over the years, inspiring countless garage bands and has seen his songs covered by artists such as Nick Cave, Blondie and the White Stripes.
