Death By Stereo – 5th of July
Orange County, CA hardcore punk veterans Death By Stereo have debuted the song “5th of July” online.
The track comes from their upcoming new album “Black Sheep of the American Dream” which will be available on April 24th through Viking Funeral Records. Death By Stereo‘s Efrem Schultz explained the song saying:
“The 5th of July is about Kelly Thomas, a man who was brutally beat to death by Fullerton police officers. This was a crime that they tried to sweep under the rug but the people just wouldn’t take it laying down. This song is about that murder and how we will not let the police go unpunished.”
