Death Cab For Cutie Plans Joint EP With Flaming Lips
Cool indie rockers Death Cab For Cutie recently told Spinner during a spontaneous interruption by The Flaming Lips that two groups will be collaborating together for a three or four song EP. Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne describes the vision as opposed to a traditional split:
“I look at it more like, ‘The Flaming Lips featuring…’ so it doesn’t feel like another group. But I don’t really care, I just thought if I asked, you’d say maybe you had some instrumental thing.”
