Desperate Measures Are Heading “Back To The Rats” On Upcoming New Single

New Zealand born, London based rockers Desperate Measures will return on the 12th May with their banging new single, Back To The Rats. Featuring a blazing duel vocal from frontman Eugene Butcher and guitarist Gaff, the song gets to the root of the bands tight, yet chaotic maelstrom of urgent rock n’ roll and hits hard and fast. “It’s about finding yourself amongst chaos without fully realising it, or the consequences at the time,” explains Gaff.

Following previous single Thinking Of England, Back To The Rats is another taster from the band’s forthcoming debut album that is due out later this year. Back To The Rats is now available for pre-order via digital platforms including Amazon and & Apple Music.

Desperate Measures will warm up at Reading’s Facebar on May 5th and a matinee show at Kingston’s Fighting Cocks on May 7th ahead of a special single launch show at London’s Water Rats Theatre on May 12^th with The Heat Inc and Yur Mum along for the ride. The band will then see out out the month with an appearance at the Call Of The Wild Festival.
