The New Catastrophes “Weather The Storm” On New Album
San Jose, CA's The New Catastrophes have released their new album, Weather The Storm, via streaming platforms, as a free…
Desperate Measures, the London/New Zealand punk rock four piece who recently released their brand new mini album, Rinsed, via Easy Action records, are set to start full UK tour with Paul Cook’s post Sex Pistols rockers The Professionals this week. The tour kicks off in Tunbridge Wells tomorrow, October 13th, and turns through to Chester on the 28th.
Desperate Measures are primed to take their hard-hitting punk (with a big helping of rock n’ roll) all over the UK featuring the new line-up of founder, and Vive Le Rock editor, Eugene Butcher, former Glitterati and current Rich Ragany and The Digressions guitarist Gaff, Ricky McGuire (UK SUBS, The Men They Couldn’t Hang), and former K-Line / Done Lying Down drummer James Sherry.

Written in lockdown and recorded with Andy Brook at The Brook Studios in Wallington, Surrey at the end of 2020, the songs on Rinsed sees this new line-up of Desperate Measures moving into new musical territories and itching to kick up a racket across the UK.

“We can’t wait to get out there and play our new songs from our ‘Rinsed’ album. Plus, we will be rocking out with Cookie and the Professionals every night! Bring it on!” (Eugene Butcher)
Rinsed is now available on CD, Vinyl and digital formats via Bandcamp and Easy Action Records.
