David Delinquent Releases “Scared To Spend” EP
Dundee’s David Delinquent (The Delinquents / David Delinquent & The IOU’s / Football, Beer & Punk Rock Podcast) has self released a brand new EP, Scared…
Railing against inequality and state suppression, Determinated advocate a healthy jab of unashamed post ’77 punk exuberance. Whilst patently aimed at contemporary societal ills and wrestling with that energy they call anger, this is also an album that invites you to bounce, fist-pump and knock back a few glasses of the strong stuff. Touch points and inspirations are many and surprisingly varied with hints of Devoto era Buzzcocks melding with UK Subs, Dictators and even a smidgeon of Motörhead along with second wavers and pub rock pioneers.
Determinated have now released their new single, Morning. The track is old school punk with a social conscience. It’s Rock ‘n Roll with a lust to party. It’s raw like you’re in the pit at a gig, feeling every beat in your sweaty body. Pump the air sing along, the choruses echo in your head. A twenty minute set with no filler, just thumping rhythms to take you away from the new normal and take you back to where we all want to be!
Morning is now available via digital platforms including Spotify.
