Getting Dumber Drop New Album “Stop Wasting Time!” & “Brainrot Bop” Video

Australia’s Getting Dumber have dropped their new full length, Stop Wasting Time, that is now available via streaming platforms and as a name your price download via Bandcamp. The album addresses trying to remain authentically human in an increasingly artificial world. Stop Wasting Time features eleven future clock-rock and hour-pop classics recorded, mixed and mastered by Cameron Murphy at Opaque Audio. The album takes in a broad range of influences including 1960’s garage rock, ska, Saturday morning cartoons, new-wave, blockbuster action movies and 1980’s hardcore, which add an explosive new twist to the band’s time-traveling sound. The band have also released a brand new video for Brainrot Bop, a pop-punk meets doo-wop ditty about our addiction to screens and technology at the expense of relationships and mental health.

Bigger, louder and dumber than ever before, this is the band’s first release as a recently expanded four-piece lineup.
