Dischord Announce “The Wakes” Tenth Anniversary Shows

This August Dischord‘s debut album, The Wakes, celebrates its tenth anniversary and the band are celebrating with a trio of hometown gigs on the weekend of the Rebellion Festival in Blackpool, including a stripped back set on the Almost Acoustic Stage. This will be followed by an appearance at the Bootleg Social before playing the album’s tenth anniversary show. On the 6th August Dischord will appear at the Scream And Shake Horror Bar where The Wakes will be played in full.

“If you’re in Blackpool for Rebellion weekend, make sure you’re at our FREE fringe show at 7pm, Saturday on Birley Street (it’s a 5 minute walk from the Winter Gardens!) Not going to Rebellion? COME TO OUR GIG ANYWAY! It’s free, there will be milkshake, and we’re performing our debut album IN IT’S ENTIRETY. We’ve been necromancing in the practice room, resurrecting our old classics. They’re alive! THEY’RE ALIVE! (and Recession is relevant again, who knew?). Expect old classics, new favourites and a special guest or two. (Oh, and did we mention Dischord themed milk shakes!?)”
