Doom Scroll Sign To Flail Records & Release New Single “Sisyphus”

Colorado folk-punk band Doom Scroll have signed with Flail Records who will release the band’s new full length, Exhausted Dialogue, on October 6th, ahead of the album’s release the band is offering another sneak preview of Exhausted Dialogue with their new single, Sisyphus. Following the release of Exhausted Dialogue, Doom Scroll will head back out on the road for a run through the Midwest and Southeast US, ending with an early show at The Fest in Gainesville, Florida.

“In Greek mythology, Sisyphus was a king who was condemned to eternally push a boulder up to the top of a hill, only to have it roll back down over and over again. The song is about being stuck in a Groundhog Day scenario where the monotony and repetition of making a living wage dilutes the feeling of being alive. Instead of working together, capitalism keeps us separated and forces the poor to live in this awful cycle like Sisyphus.”
