Dumb Posh Hippies are a psych-influenced, three-piece punk band from Dublin & Derry with a love for big riffs and pace, the trio have announced that their new single, Scrunched Up Fist, will be released via streaming platforms on the 18th October. The two and a half minute track packs a sure punch, blending the band’s signature concoction of relentless rhythms, thick basslines and fuzzy riffage, with splashes of cacophony to keep you on your toes.
“This is definitely one of the most outright punkers we have, probably. ‘Scrunched Up Fist’ was literally written in the jam room in 10 minutes. Matthew and James were just playing this thing as I was coming back from a smoke, and I knew I had lyrics in my phone that would work with it.
