Edging Release New Album “Unload Your Shame”

Chicago’s Edging have today released their new album, Unload Your Shame, through Hex Records and Dick Jail Records. Over the last several years, Edging have built a reputation through relentless DIY touring, self released records, and a live show that blend aggressive punk, gang vocals, and saxophone driven chaos into something uniquely them. The band has shared stages with acts including Die Spitz, Amyl and the Sniffers, Lambrini Girls, Snooper, Upchuck and many others while steadily growing a dedicated following across the country.

Recorded between Philadelphia and Chicago, Unload Your Shame is Edging‘s third full-length album and their most ambitious release to date. Produced and engineered by Evan Bernard and mastered by Howie Weinberg, the record expands on the band’s signature sound while exploring themes of shame, anxiety, alienation, self-destruction, and catharsis through equal parts humor and intensity.
