Say Anything has announced that the emotional indie punk project has signed with Equal Vision Records for their next release.  Under their new home, the band will be entering the studio with Tim O’Heir, the producer behind their landmark …Is A Real Boy 2004 album.  Visionary Max Bemis explains the band’s current mindset:

“Once we found our label, we knew there was only one producer who could bring the kind of ambitious, freethinking, over-the-top approach to the recording process that we were looking for… we are proud to announce that for the first time in the better part of a decade, we will be returning to the studio with Tim O’Heir, the super-sick producer who helped us shape Say Anything’s …Is a Real Boy into what it is.”

The band also expects to release a wide collection of other material through Equal Vision Records including a wide variety of previously unreleased Say Anything material, vinyl, rarities collections and forthcoming projects.  The band last released their self titled effort in 2009.
