u34n_ScreenShot20140923at80943AMKitchener, Ontario-based hardcore band Exalt has signed on with New Damage Records.  The label plans to release the band’s sophomore album, Pale Light, on November 4, 2014.  The disc will follow the band’s 2012 debut, Breach False Minds. Pre-orders are now live.   Lead vocalist Tyler Brand comments:

“People can expect a much more focused and realized album than our past efforts… Consistency in the writing and style of this record I think makes it a full front to back record, instead of just a collection of songs… Although it’s not lyrically a concept record, it just turned out that the songs revolved around this idea more than anything else… I am much happier with this record lyrically than anything I’ve written before.”

The album was recorded at Chicago’s Bricktop Recording studio with producers Andy Nelson and Pete Grossman (Veil of Maya, Fireworks).  Album art and track listing can be found below along with a stream of the first track, “Greying.”
