If you want music and you don’t want to pay for it, you can get it for free! Exit 384 Media launches FreeMusicFirst.org: A website where anyone can listen to and download music for no cost at all.
Every two weeks, Exit 384 Media has a guest DJ at FreeMusicFirst. The DJ brings in a few bands that he or she is passionate about or who they want to spotlight, then some of their music is made available to instantly stream and download for free.
Exit 384 Media’s first DJ is Vinnie Fiorello, drummer for Less than Jake and the owner of the independent label Paper + Plastick Records. Vinnie Fiorello band picks include Humanoids, a punk band from St. Louis, MO; Tin Horn Prayer, a punk/almost country-sorta group from Denver, CO; and Empty Orchestra, a contagiously passionate indie rock/folky band from Flint, MI.
Founder Aubin Paul of Punknews.org will take the featured spot in late October. Founder Jason Tate of AbsolutePunk.net will have his picks featured in the beginning of November. A couple weeks later, Exit 384 Media’s will have its first guest DJ from a quickly rising band featuring Dan “Soupy” Campbell, vocalist of Philadelphia’s realist pop-punk heroes The Wonder Years.
Head over to the FreeMusicFirst.org and start listening to and downloading records for free.
