East London’s False Heads have revealed the video for their new single, Loose, which is now available on all good digital service providers. The track is the latest to be taken from their forthcoming EP, Cracked, that is set for release on 28th March via No Fret Records, and follows on from the EP’s title track and lead single. Loose is all about the self-deception that can come with addiction, and struggling with the numbing effects of substance and alcohol abuse. False Heads will also be tour in the UK in April and May and will be appearing Germany’s Motorville Festival in May, with tickets for all dates on sale here.

“This song is about hitting rock bottom and just rolling with it, trying to kid yourself that you have your own addictions under control. The upbeat music is meant to be a juxtaposition to the lyrics, which are kind of a piss take of myself or others. You convince yourself that substance and alcohol abuse is justified because you’re more creative or fun to be around, but then sometimes when I feel like my head is going to explode with anxiety or depression, drugs and alcohol have relieved that, so it’s a terrible cycle.” (frontman Luke Griffiths)
