Flea To Release “Flea 89” EP Of Unreleased Recordings
German Shepherd Records are set to release the Flea 89 EP on the 12th November, Flea were a punk/grindcore band from Manchester, UK who were active between 1988-1992 and returned in 2017. The EP features five unreleased tracks from a nascent Flea: A menacing, prescient commentary on consumer society driven by a relentless Boss drum machine that was recorded in the basement of Manchester’s much missed Boardwalk venue. A riff ridden and raw reminder that it wasn’t just Madchester in 1989.
