The 16th November will sees the digital only release of the debut release from Manchester, UK’s
Flea via
German Shepherd Records. It’s a debut that has arrived a little later than initially planned,
Flea existed in the years between 1987 and 1993 as bass and drum-machine driven noise merchants. Based in the depths of Manchester’s legendary
Boardwalk rehearsal rooms and feeding on the energy of the time, this complementary undercurrent and antidote to the co-existing ‘Madchester’ scene sadly went under the radar.
German Shepherd Records will come to the rescue and finally release,
Parasitic Insects Teach Us Humility, that will feature a collection of
Flea songs that were recorded between 1989 and 1992.
