Follow Your Dreams have digitally released “The Half-Life Of Teaspoons” with CD and vinyl following next month, the album showcases the raw, genre-blurring songwriting of one of the Manchester punk scene’s newest bands. “The Half-Life Of Teaspoons” combines the fury and urgency of DIY punk and hardcore with a restless experimental edge drawn from post-punk and mathcore, utilising effects pedals, varied time signatures and dissonance, the effect is a varied and at times deliberately weird musical experience with shades of light and dark. Manchester DIY legend Kaz’s furious punk vocals hold the whole thing together, giving voice to the frustration and outrage that comes from living in racist, misogynist, dysfunctional late capitalism. “The Half-Life Of Teaspoons” is now available via Spotify and Apple Music and can be pre-ordered on CD and vinyl via TNSrecords here
