Formed in Visalia, California, For The Record is a six piece ska punk band, delivering an engaging, energetic, and horn-fueled sound. The band’s accessible and high-octane tunes take influence from the likes of Streetlight ManifestoLess Than Jake and Reel Big Fish, with their 2019 EP, The Mess They Call My 20’s, supplying a rousing celebration of horns and high-tempo pop-punk.

The Cali crew’s first new music since the onset of the pandemic sees For The Record return with another batch of honest and approachable ska fuelled pop-punk. Fake It Till You Make It is now available via Manic Kat Records, the EP tackles issues of mental health, with the poignant lyrical content set against a backdrop of vibrant and uplifting instrumentation, with Asa Wagoner‘s captivating lead vocal driving the collection.
