The Punk Site is saddened to learn of the death of Randy Rampage, founder member and bass player in Canadian punk legends DOA, he passed away at home at the age of 58 after suffering a heart attack. He was a crucial part of DOA‘s sound and despite leaving the band on several occasions he gravitated back to the line up before he left for the final time, in his time in DOA he recorded a total of four albums with the group including two of the band’s classic full lengths, Something Better Change and Hardcore ’81. After he left DOA for the final time he played in Annihilator, Ground Zero, Fake It Big Time, Stress Factor 9 and most recently he was fronting his own band, Rampage, and had recorded a new and as yet unreleased album. The Punk Site sends it condolences to his family, friends and band mates. RIP
