French punks Topsy Turvy’s have finally unveiled their debut album, It Can’t Be Easy, that follows on, both temporally and thematically, from their previous trio of EP’s. On their debut EP, the aliens are present on earth trying to understand how this planet works. Their conclusions will not be very optimistic about the viability of the Earth. It is necessary to intervene. The second EP is released in 2012, the year of the end of the world fantasy, and it is in the form of natural disasters that the Aliens will try to eradicate the cause of the premature destruction of the planet: the human species. But it’s a failure, the evil is too strong and it will be necessary to analyze it more closely to understand how it works. In the 3rd EP, the brain and the human behaviors will be the object of an in-depth study to detect the darkest functionings, and to understand how the human being could arrive there. Their debut album gives a very special place to nature by offering it the possibility to take revenge on men and to take back its rights. The Earth can still be saved, by giving a very last chance to a part of the human species and to the animals to do better on a new planet.

“This album was recorded at home, with the exception of the drums, the mix and the mastering. Its elaboration was spread out over nearly 2 years, in a context of covid, of difficulties to make choices and to get to work. It is finally in a few weeks that it was finalized after several months of reflection on the meaning to give it. As for the previous EPs, these new songs talk a lot about personal reflections, sometimes trying to find answers but trying to remain open to other possibilities. If sometimes the words can seem a bit sharp, they are in reality only calls for deeper thoughts and discussions that can never be fully expressed on a format as short as a song :)”
