Funky Pythons Share Dark Festive Single & Video “Christmas Punk”

Rafael, aka Funky Pythons, is a music producer and live performer based on Scotland’s windy, distant, and beautiful Orkney islands. Funky Pythons‘ music, however, is not remote. It roars like a strong wind integrating beautiful melodies and funky rhythms. Rebellious in youth but now trying to be more understanding and complacent regarding the flaws of humankind. Rafael writes lyrics and melodies that portray the painful idiocy of modern society and explores his own emotions endured in 4 decades of existence. Funky Pythons has now shared his latest track, Christmas Punk, that also features Pimlican on the decks.

Funky Pythons was born out of the continuous necessity to create without limitations. Venturing into a new stage in his solo career, Funky Pythons is working on new music, and is planning a 2023 tour across the UK and a few cool destinations in Europe. It seems impossible to get away without encapsulating music into a genre. Let’s say Funky Pythons music belongs to the post-punk genre, it fuses elements of rock, funk and 80’s nostalgia to create original songs with energy and character.
