Gaffa Tape Sandy Drop New Single “Split”

Brighton, UK trio Gaffa Tape Sandy are back with their new single, Split, that is out today via Alcopop! Records, the single was recorded at Vada Studios in the countryside surrounding Birmingham, UK, and serves as the first taste of a larger body of soon-to-be-announced work slated for a 2024 release. Retaining all the hooks and groove that have won them a legion of fans to date, the single’s helter-skelter riff and gang-vocal-packed chorus are bolstered by deft lead guitar lines and reverb-drenched FX that skitter across the track. Reaching a menacing crescendo as it speeds towards a cliff-drop finish, the release marks perhaps the darkest and most mature Gaffa Tape Sandy sound to date.
