Gibberish first saw light of day in 2015 when they were formed by Yuto and Tetsuya, two Japanese skatepunk nerds. The band focuses on making 90′- 00’s influenced skatepunk songs through email chains with two American and Italian skatepunk geeks, Kyle Olson and Alex Gavazzi. In October 2015, the debut single Milo was released via the We Carry The Torch compilation that was released by Torch of Hope Records, July 2016 marked the release of their highly acclaimed first EP, Between Timid and Timbuktu. The band were due to appear at the 2020 Manchester Punk Festival for their first ever live show, but due to COVID-19, the festival was cancelled.

Gibberish have now released their ten track debut full length, Strangers, that was remotely recorded by each member and mixed & mastered by Alessandro Gavazzi at Hell Smell, the album also features guest appearances from Much The Same‘s Chris McGrath and F.O.D.’s Hans Roofthooft. Strangers is now available via digital platforms and on CD and vinyl through Thousand Islands Records and Disconnect Disconnect Records.
