Gouge Away Reveal “Spaced Out” Single

As they prepare for the March 15th release of their third full length, Deep Sage, Gouge Away have unveiled the album’s powerful new single, Spaced Out. The track features guest vocal appearances from Haley Butters (Pale Green Stars / Trauma Ray), Meghan O’Neil (Punch / Super Unison / King Woman) and Jasmine Watson (Torso / Ceremony). Spaced Out is also accompanied by a visualizer featuring a cake made by guest vocalist Haley Butters.

“I completely missed the conversation where everyone decided to scrap this song. The guys all felt it was the most unfinished compared to our other demos but I heard a fun and short banger. I had a ton of fun writing the lyrics at home, imagining different voices trading off. Our friends Haley Butters, Meghan O’Neil and Jasmine Watson came to the studio to lend their voices super last minute and they really helped make this song come to life. Gouge Away will be playing a pair of release shows on the 15th and 16th March with a full North American tour in April and May and European Festival appearances in the Summer, including Outbreak Fest, Leper Fest and 2000 Trees Festival.
