Greg Antista & The Lonely Streets have premiered Tijuana Jail, the lively first video from the group’s upcoming second album, Under the Neon Heat, that will be released on July 16th on CD, download and 180 gram hot pink vinyl via Primal Beat Records. Directed by Frank Ordonez, the Tijuana Jail video complements the song’s furious surf-guitar shimmy with a parade of go-go girls, Mexican feds, sniffer dogs, and tongue-in-cheek bar violence. he band has also announced a live show to celebrate the album release at Alex’s Bar in Long Beach, California on July 23rd.

“Tijuana is the main border town on the Mexico side of the California-Mexico border. It’s always had a wild reputation and heading down there for the weekend has long been a rite of passage for kids growing up in Southern California. Drinking age requirements were lightly enforced and the punk shows at Iguana’s were reliably insane. I was always lucky enough to have my fun without getting thrown in the drunk tank. ‘Tijuana Jail’ is the true story of my friend Trevor who was not so lucky.” (Greg Antista)
