Jerry's KidsOn August 29, 2010 Boston Hardcore legends DYS, Gang Green, Jerry’s Kids, and the FU’s will all hit the stage at Club Lido in Revere, MA.

The bands are playing in support of XX All Ages XX, a new documentary focusing on the Boston hardcore scene of the 1980’s, which is being directed by Drew Stone. Stone’s band, Antidote, a classic New York Hardcore band, will also be on the bill for the reunion show. ““The concert will bridge the past and the present for those who were there back in the day and an introduction to hardcore for a new generation,” said Stone.

This will be the only chance to see some of the bands on the bill:

Jerry Kids guitarist Bob Cenci put it bluntly saying:

“Jerry’s Kids are scheduled to play the Gallery East Reunion Show and nothing else. If you want to see us, you better come.”  “We promise to make it worth your while.

Jonathan Anastas, co-founder and bassist of DYS added:

DYS, who haven’t played since 1985, have fielded many reunion offers over the years before deciding to play this show. “Of all the reunion offers we’ve received over the years, the chance to do it in our home city, in support of old friends, and have it all filmed as a climax to the Boston Hardcore movie was the one we had to say yes to.

Tickets are not yet available for the show.
