Harrison Gordon Drop Self Deprecating Single “Like Me Less”

Harrison Gordon have today released the visceral, self-deprecating track, Like Me Less, via Hopeless Records. Directed by Tades Sanville (Hot Mulligan) and Alex Scalzo-Brown, the music video follows the band into a doctor’s office as Harrison’s face is reworked and distorted, a body-horror visual metaphor for the song’s themes of self-loathing and projection. This release follows the announcement of their forthcoming full length, BLISS, that is set for release on September 4th.

“Like Me Less’ is about having issues with yourself, and projecting those problems on to other people. ‘Whatever black mold breeding and spreading over your soul needs to stay dormant and unaddressed if you hope to keep anyone around.’ It was written about how it felt to go through a depressive episode while living with another person who was operating completely fine, ‘No one knows me, I barely know me, and that’s the way it oughta be’”
