HotLung Share “Never Home” From Upcoming Debut Album “In Spite Of”
Santa Cruz, CA based post-hardcore band HotLung have announce the their debut album, In Spite Of, will be released on the June 13th via Sell The Heart Records (US), Little Rocket Records (UK) and Amplify Music. Fronted by Kelly Dalbeck (Daxma) and Joe Clements (Fury 66 / The Deathless) and with the blaring guitars of Jon Jamieson and explosive drums of Dustin Roth, HotLung give you the feeling that hard rock isn’t dead after all, it just took a wrong turn somewhere in 1995.
HotLung have now shared Never Home from their upcoming debut album. The band have drawn inspiration from the likes of Fugazi, Pixies, Quicksand and Seaweed and blended it with various elements from grunge, punk, and post hardcore. Lyrically they approach dark subjects with chiling imagery and poignant reflection, along with an undercurrent of hope and motivation that leaves you inspired rather than apathetic.
