The SoDa Poppers Drop New Single “Not Even In Your Wildest (Fuckin’) Dreams”
Johny Skullknuckles (The Kopek Millionaires / The Dead Beats / Goldblade) continues his musical adventures with The SoDa Poppers and their brand new…
The Castle Hotel, Gullivers & Eagle Inn are three iconic grassroots venues in Manchester & Salford, they are part of a national initiative launched by the Music Venue Trust to prevent the closure of hundreds of independent music venues. They are facing closure due to the ongoing pandemic & the future of the UK’s grassroots venues remains uncertain. If the Crowdfunder hit its target, and they can prevent the closure of their venues, everything above the amount they need will be donated to the Music Venue Trust GMV Crisis Fund to protect other venues across the UK. The Punk Site has been a regular at all three of these venues in recent years, and we hope to return post lockdown. Esther Maylor who runs the Eagle Inn had this to say “We really want to be around to offer young, emerging and experimental musicians a friendly little space to find their feet and try things out. Grassroots venues are so important for an exciting music scene and we absolutely love welcoming everyone through our doors whether you’re performing or if you’re one of the all important punters that keeps all this possible”.
