In Memoriam – Tommy Ramone

Tommy Ramone, the last remaining original member of punk legends The Ramones has died at the age of 62. He had been living in hospice care while battling cancer of the bile duct and his passing was confirmed

Tommy Ramone (born Erdelyi Tomas in Budapest) appeared on the band’s first 3 albums, Ramones, Leave Home and Rocket To Russia before leaving to concentrate on studio work. He later co-produced 1984’s Too Tough To Die, and his other studio credits include The Replacements major label début, Tim.
