Pressure Set Reveal Debut Single & Video “Blood Gimmick”
Pressure Set have unveiled their debut single, Blood Gimmick, that is the first taste of their forthcoming self-titled album that will…
Through the crash of a cymbal, a driving bass line and a wall of feedback, Manchester hardcore punks Incisions emerge stronger than ever with their new single ‘Gasoline’, released TODAY via TNSrecords. Following 2021’s ‘BLISS’ LP, ‘Gasoline’ presents a slower Incisions than heard on previous releases but retains the bite and belligerence that has endeared them to fans across the global DIY punk community. Lyrically, the song tackles a system designed to work us to dust and, as fans have come to expect from Incisions, the message is delivered with aggression and precision.
This is what being young, working class punk in the North of England sounds like. They’ve combined love, lust, liquor and rage, dragging 80s American hardcore through the streets of Manchester. Drawing from such a wide array of influences was never likely to result in Incisions staying in one lane, and ‘Gasoline’ is testament to the bands willingness to switch up their style. ‘Modern life is never fun’ may be a pessimistic assessment of the current state of the world, but regardless of your disposition, more new music from Incisions is a welcome move in the right direction.

2022 is set to be another busy year for the pride of Manchester*. With Jordan now dropping the guitar/vocalist role everyone in the band is now able to focus on their respective duties. As a result, expect the latest incarnation of Incisions to be heavier, angrier, faster, sexier* and much more lucrative for the already high-earning* band than ever before.
