Introducing the new ThePunkSite.com

Nine years.

A lot of things change in nine years.

A couple Prime Ministers. A couple Presidents. Some Marvel superheroes took over the pop culture landscape. Not to mention that whole pesky Global Pandemic that has made touring and live shows impossible.

Throughout it all, one thing that changed the absolute most was the internet. Sites got faster, more complex, more intuitive. Desktop use plummeted while mobile surfing became the norm. The world wide web was evolving and growing at an unprecedented speed, and it shows no signs of slowing down.

Yet, despite these changes and advances in technology – our little corner of the internet has stayed relatively the same.  In fact, we haven’t updated the design since 2012. The design was wonderful, but as the years passed and internet norms changed, we felt it was time for us to change with it.

So today – March 29^th, 2021 – I’m extremely pleased to launch the brand-new design and logo for ThePunkSite.com! Designed by the incredibly talented Matt Williamson of Kaluna, the new look is sleeker, more modern, and much more mobile friendly than before. More than just a fresh coat of paint, this is a complete overhaul of the look and we’re excited to see what people think and what new features we’ll be able to add.

Please look around and explore the site. There may still be a few bugs here and there as we transport some of the data into the system – so don’t hesitate to contact me at bobbyg@thepunksite.com if you have any issues and we will work on fixing it!
