David Delinquent Releases “Scared To Spend” EP
Dundee’s David Delinquent (The Delinquents / David Delinquent & The IOU’s / Football, Beer & Punk Rock Podcast) has self released a brand new EP, Scared…
Bergamo, IT’s The Useless 4 have released their self titled debut album via Wild Honey Records. When they received the irresistible yet risky offer of “If you skip school on Friday, I’ll record an album for you.” the sixteen year old band seized the offer without hesitation. They’ve only been active as a band for a few months, but their young age, eccentric look, and the fact that they play music often considered “for old people” have already drawn all the attention and surprise of the local music scene. The Useless 4 are made up of the Puddu sisters and the Rizzi brothers who enthusiastically say YES to every gig offer. In no time, they sharpened a set of original songs and develop a boldness on stage that outshines many veteran bands
After yet another show where their opening slot once again becomes the highlight of the night, producers Brown Barcella and Riccardo Zamboni decided to strike and made the offer of “our recording studio is free. If you come in early in the morning, we’ll set up your gear and record all the songs you have ready. One take, live. Just like the first Ramones album“. This album is the result of that day, pure Punk that captures the magic of first times, raw and reckless, with a spontaneity that can’t be reproduced, only caught at the right moment. Without needing to ask for permission. Not from school, at least.
