Joe Strummer Subway Gallery – Strummertime

Artist, Robert McHarg, is displaying a new Joe Strummer exhibit at the Joe Strummer subway. The subway will be covered in photocopies of Joe’s lyrics, images, thoughts, and scribblings. The exhibit is titled Strummertime and will be running from May 13 – 18.

The Joe Strummer Subway was named in tribute to Joe on the December 22, 2009, 7 years after his death. The subway is where Joe would frequently “bust and roam”. More information about the subway gallery can be found here.
