Joey Ramone – Rock and Roll Is The Answer
Spinner.com has premiered the first single from the upcoming sophomore album from the legendary Joey Ramone. The record, which is being released eleven years after the fame frontman passed away to lymphoma, is called …Ya Know and will be available on May 22nd.
The single, Rock and Roll is The Answer, can be heard here. It will be released as a 7″ single on Record Store day on April 21st.
The album was produced by Ed Stasium, who manned the boards for early Ramones albums like Rocket to Russia and Road to Ruin, and Ramone’s brother, musician Mickey Leigh who commented:
“It was of the utmost importance to me that these remaining songs of Joey’s be finished properly, and made available for the world to hear.”
