Johny SK Releases ‘Shang-A-Lang’ In Tribute To The Late Les McKeown

Johny SK, aka The Kopek Millionaires‘ Johny Skullknuckles, has released his version of the Bay City Rollers 1974 single Shang-A-Lang. Johny has released the track in tribute to the late Les McKeown, the The Bay City Rollers singer who passed away last week at the age of 65.

“One of my favourite Bay City Rollers songs recorded as a tribute to the very recently departed Les McKeown. I have always wanted to do a cover version of this track and now seemed like a fitting time. It has actually turned out a lot more poppy than I had envisaged so at some point I may record a “punkier” version but this will more than do for now. I hope you think I have done the song justice.”
