Canadian Jo-Jo O’Donoghue journeyed from the Rocky Mountains to the Isle of Wight, via Dublin, before settling in London and forming JoJo & The Teeth. A glam rock ‘n roll, pop rock mix, citing influences from Queen, Ramones and Fleetwood Mac, to The Rolling Stones & Aerosmith. They have now released their debut full length, No More Good News, a riff-slicked pop-hooked rock n’ roll debut that includes the singles Don’t Get Too Heavy, My Babe and the album’s title track.
The band are also currently collaborating with Andy Blade, founder of original 1977 London Punk band Eater, including opening as Eater for Dinosaur Jnr, with J Mascis joining the band on stage for a couple of Eater classics, and appearing at Cleopatra Records 30th Anniversary celebration at London’s O2 Islington. No More Good News is self produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Jason Stafford, house engineer at The Albion Rooms, The Libertines HQ in Margate, Kent.
