Kingsley Chapman And The Murders Preview New Track ‘Fevers’
Kingsley Chapman And The Murder are a seven piece band from the North East of the UK, with two drummers, a pianist, violin, trumpet, bass and guitar. The eponymous Kingsley Chapman was previously in The Chapman Family, who became notorious for their noisy, chaotic and confrontational style. Kingsley Chapman And The Murder are just as barbed but they approach things from a different angle. The anger that fuelled The Chapman Family is still there, it’s just that instead of trying to beat you up with a baseball bat, they have covered the baseball bat in velvet.
Fevers sounds like a bitter and twisted love song set inside a spaghetti western. It will not be on general release, this is just a taste of what’s to come from their forthcoming single, planned for release in November. There also will be a tour to support the single, shortly after that they plan to put out a suitably distressing Christmas song.
