Brighton, UK’s Levellers have been one of Britain’s most enduring bands, part of that success has been built on the timeless anthems that comprised their second album, Levelling The Land, which celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2026. To mark the occasion Levellers will be heading out on the road later this year on a UK & European tour, playing many of the songs from that album, alongside further fan-favourites from their extensive catalogue. The tour starts in Köln, Germany on October 16th and ends on 21st November at London’s Hammersmith Apollo. The band will be supported by punk-duo The Meffs on all dates with Stourbridge’s finest, Ned’s Atomic Dustbin, joining as special guests in Glasgow, Llandudno, Blackpool, Bristol and London. Tickets go on general sale on the 20th February at 10am.

Levelling The Land was originally released in 1991 and features the singles One Way, 15 Years and Far From Home, as well as The Game, Liberty Song, Riverflow, Boatman and the incendiary Battle Of The Beanfield. During that summer, Levelling The Land redefined the UK’s musical landscape providing the soundtrack for a society fed up with the twin evils of Thatcherite politics, and the post-80’s pre-grunge musical wasteland. The cultural and musical legacy of Levellers runs deep with echoes of their work found in contemporary music, grassroots political movements and the evolution of British festival culture. This year sees the 23rd instalment of their hugely popular Beautiful Days Festival in Devon, which features a supporting line up that includes Super Furry Animals and Madness.

“This year we celebrate 35 years of Levelling the Land! So we’re looking forward to getting out on the road and playing some of our favourite songs from that album, plus some other classics too. We’ll see you there!” (bassist Jeremy Cunningham)
