David Delinquent Releases “Scared To Spend” EP
Dundee’s David Delinquent (The Delinquents / David Delinquent & The IOU’s / Football, Beer & Punk Rock Podcast) has self released a brand new EP, Scared…
Loose Nukes were formed in Houston, Texas in 2016 by Mike Grayum and Matt Juarez. The duo had previously played together in punk band Crime Wave, and in hardcore thrash band Janitor. The band were initially inspired by the early wave of American punk bands, particularly speed-core bands Neos and Koro. The initial line-up of the group consisted of Grayum on lead vocals, Juarez on bass, Derek Harvey on guitars and David Klotz on Drums. This line up recorded their first demo, Fast Forward To Extinction, in July 2017 at Digital Warehaus Studios, Houston. The group has since released several EPs as well as two full lengths, 2020’s Cult Leaders and 2022’s Mexploitation.
The album features all of the tracks from the Fast Forward To Extinction demo, that have been remastered for this vinyl release, as well as five additional tracks recorded at the same session; Gag Order, Conversion Therapy, Used, White People Problems and Culling Guess What? and a cover of Koro’s Dear Sirs. Fast Forward To Extinction is now available on limited red and black vinyl variants through Kibou Records in the UK, France’s Kangaroo Records and Sweden’s Cimex Records.
